Irrigon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Heppner just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Weston-McEwen lost to Union at home by a 51-32 margin on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the TigerScots in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Irrigon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Weston-McEwen, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
