Baseball Recap: Hitchcock Takes a Loss

Hitchcock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Columbia Roughnecks.

Hitchcock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hitchcock will host Van Vleck at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wharton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wharton has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with eight straight losses, while Columbia will come in with eight straight wins.
