Volleyball Recap: Living Rock Academy's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hill Country Christian, Living Rock Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the McCauley Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Bobcat: when they faced off against the Warriors back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Living Rock Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Elisabeth Draheim paced Living Rock Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Draheim got some help from Shiloh Wilburn and her ten assists. Draheim was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Living Rock Academy's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for McCauley Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.

Living Rock Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Legacy Christian Academy on the 9th. As for McCauley Christian Academy, they will square off against Winston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
