Palmyra put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Warwick Warriors.

Blake Deiter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Tyler Peck was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Julian Meley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Palmyra pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Warwick, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Palmyra has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Central Dauphin East on the 8th. As for Warwick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Conestoga Valley on the 9th.
