Volleyball Game Preview: Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans vs. Sand Creek Scorpions

The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans will head out to take on the Sand Creek Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fountain-Fort Carson has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 3rd.

Fountain-Fort Carson had taken Mesa Ridge down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Grizzlies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Sand Creek earned a 3-1 win over Doherty on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.

Sand Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17.

Fountain-Fort Carson's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Sand Creek, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
