Basketball Recap: O'Farrell Charter Comes Up Short

O'Farrell Charter suffered their biggest loss since January 19th on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Southwest SD Raiders 76-37. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Daniel Canonizado was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 14 points. Khalid Deiranieh was another key player, putting up 11 points.

O'Farrell Charter's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for Southwest SD, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

O'Farrell Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-52 defeat against Preuss UCSD on the 11th. Southwest SD has also already played their next contest, a 78-54 loss against Madison on the 14th.
