Basketball Recap: Wiscasset Comes Up Short

Wiscasset lost against Telstar back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wiscasset Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to the Telstar Rebels. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Wiscasset's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Telstar, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Wiscasset won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Vinalhaven at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Wiscasset is facing Vinalhaven at the right time seeing as Vinalhaven is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Telstar, they will host Islesboro Central at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
