Softball Game Preview: Mosinee Indians vs. Pacelli Cardinals

Mosinee is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Pacelli is on a ten-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Indians will host the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mosinee's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Rhinelander 15-0. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Hodags: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Pacelli got the win against Tri-County on Thursday by a conclusive 14-0.

Mosinee's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Pacelli, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Mosinee was able to grind out a solid win over Pacelli in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 9-4. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
