Basketball Recap: Depaul College Prep Skates Past Resurrection with Ease

DePaul College Prep hadn't done well against Resurrection recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The DePaul College Prep Rams claimed a resounding 63-34 win over the Resurrection Bandits. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

DePaul College Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Lee, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 19 points and eight rebounds. Lee's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Ava Giordano was another key player, putting up 15 points and four steals.

DePaul College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Resurrection, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-9.

DePaul College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-49 loss against Trinity on the 4th. As for Resurrection, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-44 win against St. Francis on the 4th.
