Mountain Ridge faced Herriman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Sentinels had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Mountain Ridge, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Lexi Hernandez and Sofia Valenti scored both of Mountain Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Mountain Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Herriman, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
