If Mesquite was feeling good fresh off their 82-37 takedown of Mohave on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a blow against the Deer Valley Skyhawks on Wednesday, falling 75-34. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mesquite dropped their record down to 5-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Deer Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
