Softball Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alexander Bulldogs. Even if the Wolves couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Laredo LBJ's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Alexander, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-18.

Coincidentally, Laredo LBJ and Alexander will both be playing United the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
