It was a good run, but Darrington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Fellowship Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Loggers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Darrington's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Fellowship Christian, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Darrington and Fellowship Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Loggers will challenge Tulalip Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (59 vs. 341). Meanwhile, Fellowship Christian (ranked 33rd) will meet Rochester (ranked 318th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
