Baseball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

Lakeview lost against Morley Stanwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Mohawks by a score of 6-5.

Braden Salladay made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jack Peasley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Morley Stanwood, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lakeview beat the Mohawks by a score of 13-3 later that day.
