Volleyball Recap: Carli Murphy and Addison Christenson Secure Win for East Troy

East Troy won the last time they faced The Prairie School and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks.

Leading East Troy to victory were Addison Christenson and Carli Murphy. Christenson had seven digs and three aces, while Murphy had 11 digs and four assists. Christenson is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: East Troy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

East Troy's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for The Prairie School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

East Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Waupaca on the 27th. As for The Prairie School, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 27th.
