Soccer Recap: Kentwood Takes a Loss

Kentwood lost against Kentridge back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Conquerors fell 2-0 to the Chargers. While losing is never fun, Kentwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Kentridge are ranked 44th).

Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-6. As for Kentridge, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3-3.

Looking ahead, Kentwood will venture away from home to challenge Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tahoma's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Kentwood's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kentridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
