Hamilton-Wenham Regional and North Reading are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Generals will head out to square off against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Hamilton-Wenham Regional made easy work of Pentucket Regional and carried off a 13-3 win. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday North Reading sidestepped Georgetown for a 4-3 victory.

North Reading's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
