Soccer Recap: Gateway Comes Up Short

Gateway lost against Norwin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gators lost 4-0 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Gateway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Norwin are ranked 59th).

This is the second loss in a row for Gateway and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Norwin, they pushed their record up to 7-5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Gateway will head out to face off against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norwin, they will host Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
