Baseball Recap: Kaplan Takes a Loss

Kaplan suffered their closest loss since February 25th on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays by a score of 6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Kaplan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. The win made it two in a row for St. Edmund and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

While Kaplan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
