Basketball Preview: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Shawnee Indians
The Jefferson Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Shawnee Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Jefferson better focus on containing Alexis Whetstone and Cadence Wilson as the pair were huge in Shawnee's win. Whetstone went 5 of 7 on her way to 13 points, while Wilson posted 12 points and eight rebounds.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Shawnee, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Jefferson was able to grind out a solid victory over Shawnee in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 42-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
