Basketball Game Recap: Pleasanton Blu-Jays vs. Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans

Pleasanton played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-12 to the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blu-Jays were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-6.

Cedar Vale/Dexter found their leader in sophomore Zoe Davidson, who went 7-for-15 on her way to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Edee Boatman, who posted six points and four steals.

Pleasanton dropped their record down to 2-16-1 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Pleasanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-43 defeat against Lyndon on the 5th.
