Basketball Recap: Sayre Takes a Loss

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Sayre was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were beaten by the Hooker Bulldogs 78-25. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sayre has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Hooker, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sayre will venture away from home to square off against Navajo at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st. Hooker has already played their next game (against Texline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
