Softball Recap: Wesclin Comes Up Short

Wesclin lost against Carlyle last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Indians/Lady Indians by a score of 6-4.

Wesclin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maria Kahrhoff, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Wesclin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Carlyle, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Wesclin has already played their next match, an 8-7 win against Nashville on the 16th. As for Carlyle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against DuQuoin on the 14th.
