Baseball Recap: York Falcons vs. Jamestown Eagles
York had lost four straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 4-5 to make it five. They fell just short of the Jamestown Eagles by a score of 5-4. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Jamestown, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4. While they didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
For Jamestown's part, Nathaniel Dafashy was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Charles Clawson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
