Softball Recap: Forsyth Panthers vs. Buffalo Bison
Forsyth can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against the Buffalo Bison as the Forsyth Panthers made off with a 14-4 win. The victory was nothing new for Forsyth as they're now sitting on five straight.
Lindsey Essary made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Essary was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Forsyth let Lilia Roberts and Lauren Turner loose on the outfield. Roberts scored a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Turner scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
