Basketball Game Preview: George Stevens Academy Eagles vs. Narraguagus Knights

The George Stevens Academy Eagles will square off against the Narraguagus Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, George Stevens Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 29-23 to Sumner. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Narraguagus ended up a good deal behind Shead on Saturday and lost 55-41. The Knights have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Narraguagus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for George Stevens Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

George Stevens Academy took their victory against Narraguagus when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 58-32. Will George Stevens Academy repeat their success, or does Narraguagus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
