Baseball Recap: Inderkum Takes a Loss

Inderkum lost against Woodcreek last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Travis Outing Jr. was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Inderkum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylen Dawson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Inderkum's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Woodcreek, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

While Inderkum had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
