Volleyball Recap: Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Comes Up Short

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy lost against Challenger back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Firebirds. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7, 25-23.

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Challenger, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Pinnacle Classical Academy on the 5th. As for Challenger, they will take on Community Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
