Softball Recap: Make It Nine in a Row for Paradise Valley Christian Prep

Paradise Valley Christian Prep strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Berean Academy Eagles as they made off with a 31-5 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Evie Williams, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Another player making a difference was Madison Akard, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Paradise Valley Christian Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .789. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .576 or higher in three consecutive games.

Paradise Valley Christian Prep's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Berean Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
