Volleyball Recap: Granger Christian Comes Up Short

Granger Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Community Baptist Christian Cougars. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Granger Christian started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-13.

Granger Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Community Baptist Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Granger Christian will take on HomeSchool Resource Center at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Community Baptist Christian, they will welcome Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
