Volleyball Game Preview: Camarillo Scorpions vs. Oak Park Eagles

The Camarillo Scorpions will take on the Oak Park Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camarillo has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight losses, while Oak Park will come in with four straight wins.

Camarillo's tournament run continued when they took on Village Christian on Saturday. The Scorpions fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Oak Park got the win against Malibu on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Oak Park never let Malibu on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-23.

Camarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Oak Park, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Everything went Camarillo's way against Oak Park when the teams last played back in September, as Camarillo made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Scorpions repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
