Mart is a perfect 8-0 against Wortham since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1023rd, while the Tigers are ranked 396th).

Wortham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mart, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Mart against Wortham in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 36-6 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
