Basketball Game Preview: Plum Mustangs vs. Kiski Area Cavaliers

Plum and Kiski Area are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Plum Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Kiski Area Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Plum came up short against Penn Hills and fell 52-45.

Meanwhile, Kiski Area had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.9 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They blew past the Titans 70-39. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Kiski Area's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Plum, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Plum was dealt a bruising 57-30 defeat at the hands of Kiski Area in their previous meeting back in January. Can Plum avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
