Evans came out on top against Portal on Monday thanks in part to Kyleigh Chase's efforts. Chase threw for 16 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing, and also rushed for 48 yards. The performance also marked the most passer rating (138.3) she has had since back in November of 2024.

Chase and Evans will take on Effingham County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chase will face off against Ivyana Jenkins, the Rebels' star signal caller.
