Football Game Preview: Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks vs. Destin Sharks

Two dominant backs in Eli Harris and Junior Harris are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks will welcome the Destin Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Port St. Joe came up short against Baker and fell 24-15. The Tiger Sharks have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Destin played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Booker T. Washington 43-7. The Sharks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Destin's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Port St. Joe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Port St. Joe was able to grind out a solid victory over Destin in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 21-12. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Sharks' William Bruckner, who rushed for 120 yards and one touchdown.
