Football Game Recap: Wakefield Memorial vs. Woburn Memorial

Woburn Memorial took an ego-bruising defeat against Reading Memorial last Friday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Woburn Memorial blew past Wakefield Memorial 28-7. Woburn Memorial were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win got Woburn Memorial back to even at 3-3. Wakefield Memorial are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.

Woburn Memorial will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Lexington. As for Wakefield Memorial, they will face off against Watertown. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Wakefield Memorial and five for Watertown.
