Wheeler extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-5 in the process. Everything went their way against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays as they made off with a 16-6 win. Considering the Bearcats have won ten contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Grace Gabriel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Wheeler let Abby Allen and Rileyann Welch run wild. Allen went 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple, while Welch went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those six RBI gave Allen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Hessling, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
