Baseball Recap: Tavares Comes Up Short

Tavares was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the Eustis Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 back in February.

Tavares saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calvin Hinckley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Tavares' record now sits at 4-11. As for Eustis, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Eustis, they will venture away from home to challenge Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
