Basketball Recap: Warner Comes Up Short

Warner lost against Quinton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warner Eagles lost to the Quinton Savages on the road by a 60-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Savages are ranked 31st).

This is the second loss in a row for Warner and nudges their season record down to 5-14. As for Quinton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Warner has already played their next contest, a 47-42 victory against Oktaha on the 25th. As for Quinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-31 loss against Cheyenne/Reydon on the 25th.
