Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Johnson County Sports Association needed a changed in momentum after dropping seven straight games and they got it from Kayley Myers. The Johnson County Sports Association Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 win over the Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Myers, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Johnson County Sports Association's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-12-1. As for Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Johnson County Sports Association didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-21 defeat against Stephenville FAITH on the 6th. Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
