Football Recap: Marian Catholic Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marian Catholic can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tri-Valley Bulldogs by a score of 3-0 on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which Marian Catholic was not able to get on the board.

Gregory Tirpak threw for 57 yards on six of 14 attempts. Tyler Price was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards. On the ground, Rory Dixon rushed for 39 yards.

Marian Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tri-Valley, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-4.

As of now, neither Marian Catholic nor Tri-Valley have any future games scheduled.
