Basketball Recap: Watervliet Finds Home Court Redemption Against Fennville

There's no place like home for Watervliet, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-37 victory over the Fennville Blackhawks on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Watervliet is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Fennville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
