Cobre won the last time they faced Hot Springs, and Hayley Gutierrez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cobre Indians came out on top against the Hot Springs Tigers by a score of 63-53 on Tuesday thanks in part to Gutierrez, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Duarte, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.
