Soccer Recap: Fredericksburg Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Fredericksburg was not quite Lampasas's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lampasas Badgers by a score of 2-1. The Billies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Badgers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Fredericksburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Lampasas, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brownwood the next time they take the pitch. Fredericksburg will host Brownwood at 7:20 p.m. on Friday, while Lampasas will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
