Kennedy came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Poolesville Falcons 10-4. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Falcons back in April, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Poolesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
