Basketball Recap: Drew Schmaderer Key Part of Team Effort in Broncos Win

There's no place like home for Stuart, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Bloomfield Bees on Tuesday. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bees, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stuart to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Schmaderer, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 29 points. Those 29 points gave Schmaderer a new career-high. Kayde Ramm was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Bloomfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Beau Eisenhauer, who posted 19 points. His morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajay Jensen, who scored 12 points.

Stuart now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bloomfield, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Stuart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-62 win against Twin Loup on the 12th. As for Bloomfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 56-53 defeat against Winside on the 12th.
