Basketball Recap: Valley Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 12

Valley Christian extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Carson Grier. The Valley Christian Trojans blew past the Seton Catholic Sentinels, posting a 94-32 win thanks in part to Grier, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 15 boards, and 11 assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Colby Jessup, who went 8 for 18 en route to 22 points. His evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Valley Christian pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 47.8 points. As for Seton Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-44 win against Apache Junction on the 4th. As for Seton Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 78-53 victory against Globe on the 4th.
