The Urbana Hillclimbers will venture away from home to challenge the Harvest Prep Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Harvest Prep took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Urbana, who comes in off a win.
Urbana is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing London: they outscored them in every quarter. Urbana blew past London 57-34 on Wednesday. The Hillclimbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Peyton Mounce was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds. Her evening made it 17 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia MacKendrick, who posted seven points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Harvest Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. The matchup between them and Big Walnut didn't end well, with Harvest Prep falling 57-43. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 49th).
Urbana will have to contain Adjoa Acheampong as she made an impact in Harvest Prep's last game. She scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Israelle Smith, who put up 12 points.
Urbana's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Harvest Prep, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Urbana has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Harvest Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Urbana couldn't quite finish off Harvest Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 50-48. Can Urbana avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
