Basketball Recap: Seven Wheeler Key Part of a Team Effort in Generals Win

On Thursday, the Towson Generals didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Lake Clifton Lakers, but they still walked away with a 65-61 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

Towson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seven Wheeler, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Wheeler a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Devaughn West, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Towson's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Towson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-50 loss against Dulaney on the 16th. As for Lake Clifton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-12 win against Dundalk on the 14th.
