Soccer Recap: Salina Central Takes a Loss

Salina Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Eisenhower Tigers. While losing is never fun, Salina Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Eisenhower are ranked third).

Salina Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-12-2. As for Eisenhower, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

When Salina Central and Eisenhower next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Mustangs will challenge Andover Central and their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eisenhower will try to stop Rose Hill's six-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
